2023 Kohler

Scott Ward Wins the 2023 Kohler!

We had 8 players sign-up for this event in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in the end, only 5 remained. This is the 19th Kohler in the History of The BGA using a modified stableford format. The scoring is as follows, Par: 1 point, Birdie: 3 points, Eagle: 5 points, Bogey: 0, Double Bogey: -1 point.

Overcast skies and 65 degrees with a slight breeze when we teed off at 8:30 am. We had to contend with some sprinkles and storms nearby as we finished the remaining 6 holes of the tournament. Luckily we avoided the threatening weather and completed another successful event.

BGA veterans Frank Mejia and Jim Frenette captained two 8-man teams in a modified Ryder Cup format over the weekend of Friday, September 23, Saturday September 24th and Sunday, September 25th at The Bridges in Abbottstown, PA.
